My name is Kerrie Legault, and I am from Greenwood, Indiana. I started gymnastics at age 3, and competed in club through level 10. My passion continues to grow as a Division III college gymnast at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I will be a junior in the fall continuing my studies in Exercise and Sport Science.
My name is Makenna Clarke and I am a college gymnast at the University of Kentucky. My path to this point has been a long and curvy one, and it hasn’t always been the easiest. I have learned from my challenges and I love to use this knowledge to help and inspire other young athletes. I started gymnastics when I was 6 years old, at Indiana Gymnastics Center where I competed levels 4 through 7. I then furthered my optional levels at Jaycie Phelps Athletic Center where I competed level 9 and 10 for a few years. I decided to take a break from gymnastics after level 9 season, which I was in 8th grade. During this time I tried a few other sports, and let’s just say, gymnastics is the only one meant for me. I returned back to gymnastics as a sophomore in high school which was one of my biggest challenges thus far. It took not only physical strength, but grueling mental strength as well. I went through the recruiting process in my years as a level 10 and graduated from high school in 2019. As I found my second home at the University of Kentucky, I can proudly say that all of the challenges were much worth it. I wouldn’t change a thing about my path to this point and I hope to inspire and help young athletes to be the best versions of themselves, physically and mentally. I can’t wait to meet you all!
